PDF to HTML converter - Convert PDF files to HTML
With all the software out there, you can probably create an entire web site without needing to know a single line of code. No matter how skilled you may be, writing code will always eat up most of your time and turning to software is an easier way to go. PDF to HTML Converter is something you can add to your arsenal. The name should be enough of an explanation. You can use it to convert PDF files to HTML format in a few short steps.
It's not free, but you can still download it and try it for free. The package is 2.86 Mb large and the installation wizard is barely noticeable. You should not rush blindly through it because no desktop shortcut will be placed, so there is a chance you will find yourself looking for the software in the Program Files folder.
The main process won't require too much navigation. The interface is divided into two sections. On the left side you will find a series of hyperlinks through which you can access different options, placed on the right side of the window. The hyperlinks are separated into groups of two so that you can get a better idea of what each hyperlink is for. The first group is for general options where you can target a PDF file and set some passwords should you need to. Through the next two hyperlinks you can access graphics options. If the PDF contains images, it is here you will find some simple settings for them like quality, convert to grayscale, ignore vector elements or save the images as JPG, PNG, GIF or BMP. The final two hyperlinks are for HTML options. You can use these for page sizing, coloring, frames and navigation adjusting.
When all is ready, the Start Conversion hyperlink will start the process immediately. Overall, the time it takes to convert a PDF, from launching the program to accessing the results, is approximately one minute. The options menus contain more text than actual options. This way, you'll have a good idea on what to do in a certain menu. You won't even need to bother with the top menus. Aside from the save and load features, you won't find anything you can't do from the interface.
Pros:
PDF to HTML Converter's interface won't hinder the user in any way. The most needed options can be accessed straight away which makes the whole process fast.
Cons:
The interface could have had a better look. It looks a bit old.
Don't waste your time writing code. With few but powerful features, DF to HTML Converter lets you make your PDF files visible on the Internet in HTML form while keeping to its original formatting.
